We select our moissanite for its color, clarity and cut.
Our jewelry is crafted in sterling silver, gold vermeil, 9K and 10K gold, 18K yellow, white and rose gold, and Pt950 platinum.
Our specifications: color H–D; clarity VS2 or higher; cut Excellent or higher.
Color
Cut
Cut is assessed through proportions, polish and symmetry, with five grades from Poor to Excellent.
Within the Excellent category, designations include Excellent, H&C EX and 3EX H&C.
GYPPHY selects stones rated Excellent or higher.
Clarity
Clarity describes the presence of inclusions and surface blemishes. The scale has 11 grades, from I3 to FL. GYPPHY selects moissanite graded VS2 or higher, in which inclusions are difficult to see.
